The visiting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said his Government’s cooperation with Georgia was a “practical example of what relations between countries in the region should be like”.
The head of the Armenian Government thanked his Georgian counterpart Irakli Kobakhidze for the “warm welcome”.
"We have managed to expand comprehensive cooperation between Georgia and Armenia in all areas. The best indicator of this is that in January of this year, the cooperation between the countries rose to a higher level of strategic partnership. In this way, we have managed to create a viable mechanism for effective contacts based on mutual interests, as well as common principles and democratic values”, - the Armenian PM said.
He further added that the governments of two countries had “unconditionally” recognised each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and further pointed out that “this is one of the important factors to achieve stability and long lasting peace in the South Caucasus region”.
