
Ambassador Tamar Taliashvili, Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States, held a working meeting with Honorary Consuls and Mamuka Tsereteli, President of the U.S.-Georgian Business Council.
During the discussion, Ambassador Taliashvili outlined Georgia’s ongoing economic reforms and large-scale infrastructure projects aimed at positioning the country as a strategic trade and logistics hub in the region. She also emphasized Georgia’s high rankings in various international indices, showcasing the country’s progress in governance, business climate, and transparency.
The Ambassador reiterated that deepening international economic ties remains a central focus of Georgia’s foreign policy and highlighted the importance of continued engagement with U.S. partners.
The meeting also reviewed upcoming events, including the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum scheduled for October 2025 and the planned visit of a U.S. business delegation to Georgia in September, both expected to further boost bilateral economic cooperation.
