
According to the Ministry of Economy of Georgia, the country’s export performance reached a new record between January and July 2025, with exports rising by 8.9% year-on-year to reach USD 3,843.8 million — the highest figure ever recorded for this period.
Imports also saw an increase during the same seven-month span, rising by 10.8% to USD 10,310.1 million. However, a slight shift occurred in July 2025, when imports declined by 6.7%, totaling USD 1,464.0 million for the month.
Overall, Georgia’s total trade turnover (exports plus imports) in the first seven months of 2025 grew by 10.3%, reaching a record USD 14,153.9 million. In July alone, trade turnover stood at USD 2,073.1 million.
The Ministry also referenced record-breaking figures in 2024, when exports grew by 7.8% to USD 6.6 billion, and total trade turnover rose by 8.1% to USD 23.4 billion — underscoring a continuing trend of robust trade growth.
These results reflect Georgia’s strengthening position in international markets and highlight the country’s economic resilience amid global challenges.
