
The 72nd session of Georgia’s EU Integration Commission was held at the Government Administration, chaired by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, to evaluate the implementation of the 2024 EU Integration Action Plan.
Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili presented the annual report, detailing Georgia’s progress in meeting its commitments under the EU-Georgia Association Agreement over the past year.
Commission members reviewed the steps taken so far and reaffirmed the government’s strategic objective of preparing Georgia for EU membership by 2028. The session included in-depth discussions on upcoming priorities and reforms necessary to accelerate alignment with EU standards and obligations.
Officials stressed the importance of inter-agency coordination and institutional commitment to ensuring effective implementation of the Association Agreement, underscoring that broad-based state involvement is essential for advancing Georgia’s EU integration agenda.
