"With the support of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia and with the organization of the Rural Development Agency, ten Georgian companies introduced their agricultural products to the visitors at the international agricultural exhibition Foodex Saudi held in the city of Riyadh," - the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia stated. 

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Giorgi Pantsulaia, the First Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency.

"With the support of the Rural Development Agency, ten Georgian companies are participating in the exhibition. The presentation of the Georgian products at the international exhibitions significantly contributes to the growth of the scale of promotion and, accordingly, the export potential", - Giorgi Pantsulaia said.

The Georgian stand presented walnuts, blueberries, water, dry fruits, chilled lamb meat and organic juices produced by the following companies: AgroQiziki, Aqua Geo, Georgian Hazelnut Corporation, Achinabuli, Kula, Agroline, Agritouch, Geofarms and Aroma Products.

Foodex Saudi is one of the largest exhibitions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This year, the exhibition has been held for the eleventh time and about 50 countries and 500 local and international companies have taken part in it. The participants and visitors of the exhibition had the opportunity to get acquainted with the innovations in the agriculture and food industry, the modern technologies introduced by the leading companies and the manufactured equipment.
