20 public schools from different districts of Tbilisi were selected for the project, where each author will hold a two-hour meeting-lecture. The authors were selected based on the results of the renewal of the
Book Fund of Tbilisi Public Schools' Libraries, another joint project of Tbilisi named the World Book Capital and the Books Publishers and Distributors Association. Among them are: Giorgi Kekelidze, Diana Anpimiadi, Guram Petriashvili, Nato Davitashvili, Nino Sadghobelashvili, Lela Tsutskiridze, Teona Dolenjashvili, Levan Bregadze, Nino Chipashvili (Nefertari), Tamar Gegeshidze, Mariam Tsiklauri, Guram Megrelashvili, Torres Moss, Beka Adamashvili and Lela Kotorashvili.
The aim of the project is for young readers to get better acquainted with modern Georgian literature and authors, learn more about literary processes, get closer to the world of books, develop their habit of going to the library, as well as through face-to-face interviews with the authors, learn about the current processes in world literature and various fields of art, ask them interesting questions, get answers and express their attitudes.
