The grand concert of Imagine Dragons was sold out in the Georgian capital Tbilisi last night. 30,000 music fans gathered at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium to listen to the world-famous American band. The 4 Grammy-winning pop-rock band performed well-known hits from all five of its albums for Georgian listeners. Several thousand policemen guarded the security of those present at the concert.
Imagine Dragons visited Georgia for the first time as part of their fifth world tour. The new stage of the Black Sea Arena was specially brought to Tbilisi with 35 trailers. Georgia is the only one in the region with a stage containing powerful lighting and sound systems purchased within the funding of the project Staring Georgia initiated by the Prime Minister.
