From January to November 2024, Georgia’s external merchandise trade (excluding non-declared trade) totaled USD 21,112.7 million, reflecting a 6.6% increase compared to the same period in the previous year, as reported by the National Statistics Service (GeoStat).
According to GeoStat, exports amounted to USD 6,010.9 million, a 7.9% year-on-year increase, while imports reached USD 15,101.7 million, marking a 6.1% rise. The trade deficit for January-November 2024 stood at USD 9,090.8 million, accounting for 43.1% of the total external trade turnover.
In the same period, the top ten export partners represented 81.7% of Georgia’s total exports. The leading partners included Kyrgyzstan (USD 1,166.1 million), Kazakhstan (USD 795.4 million), and Azerbaijan (USD 664.4 million).
