
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia declared that basic necessities, medical assistance, transportation and temporary accommodation had been provided to those on the territory of the country defending from the Russian invasion.
"Shuttle bus operations from Lviv to Warsaw for Georgian citizens are continuing, in addition to transportation from Odesa to the neighbouring countries of Ukraine. An additional special shuttle service will evacuate Georgian citizens from Ukraine to Poland on Wednesday.
Since the start of hostilities in Ukraine, diplomatic missions of Georgia - both in Ukraine and in neighbouring Poland, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia and Hungary - have been put in an emergency mode.
Under the instructions of the Prime Minister of Georgia, the diplomatic missions have been ensuring the transportation of Georgian nationals and their families back to Georgia and the provision of basic assistance, - the statement reads.
