During a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed that Georgia is a "friendly country" to Kazakhstan and highlighted the importance of assessing Georgia's economic growth for the benefit of their bilateral cooperation.
The Government Administration reported that Tokayev congratulated Kobakhidze on his reappointment as Prime Minister, emphasizing Georgia's significance as a key partner for Kazakhstan.
"Congratulations on your reappointment as Prime Minister of Georgia. Georgia is a very important partner for Kazakhstan, and your well-deserved appointment reflects your strong leadership in your country. I wish you success," Tokayev stated. He also commended Georgia's recent progress, noting the impressive 9.4% economic growth last year.
"We are closely following Georgia's economic development, and we believe this growth will benefit our bilateral cooperation. Your visit to Kazakhstan is crucial, and I am confident it will contribute to our continued collaboration in many strategic areas," Tokayev added.
