“The Enterprise Georgia Agency has been actively supporting film production for years, and today we have launched another, completely new program that will support the screening of Georgian films at international film festivals and their commercialization,” - the director of the Agency, Mikheil Khidureli, said at the presentation of the new program to the representatives of the film industry.
According to him, the new program will support and further develop local film production.
"We are always thinking of introducing new products and new initiatives, and today we introduced one of these new programs to film producers. The goal of the program is to help Georgian feature films to maximize their access and promotion on international markets. In particular, the program involves the screening of a full-length Georgian film by the agency at high-level international film festivals. It is very important that we will help the Georgian film companies participating in the program in terms of marketing as well", Mikheil Khidureli said.
As Mikheil Khidureli stated, the Agency also constantly brings various international high-ranking film experts to Georgia, who help Georgian companies to introduce modern standards.
