
The Public Service Development Agency of Georgia, as part of the implementation of public administration reform, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Pension Agency.
In accordance with the document, with the involvement of the Public Service Development Agency, the European Foundation for Quality Management - Common Assessment Framework (CAF) - will be introduced in the Pension Agency. The project will be implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The Common Assessment Framework will contribute to the creation of services tailored to the user's needs, increasing access and ensuring quality.
As part of the implementation of the 2022-2025 strategy for the development of public services, a memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Chairman of the Public Service Development Agency - Ketevan Betlemidze and the Director of the Pension Agency - Giorgi Danelia.
According to the memorandum, a working meeting was held between the agencies, where they discussed the mechanisms of introducing the Common Assessment Framework and further cooperation.
Within the framework of the ongoing public administration reform in Georgia, the common 2022-2025 strategy for the development of public services was created and approved by the government for the first time. The goal of the reform is to further simplify the provision of public services to the user and increase their accessibility. The agency responsible for the development of the standard for simplified delivery of services is the Public Service Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice.
