“Today, we discussed various aspects of our bilateral agenda, touching upon political and economic cooperation, as well as collaboration in education, culture, and sport. Despite the very high level of our relations, there remains considerable potential for further development in all areas,” stated the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, during a briefing with Armenia’s Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan.
According to the Head of Government, Georgia and Armenia enjoy strong trade and economic relations, with Armenia ranking among Georgia’s top ten trading partners.
“We must emphasise that we have a very good trade and economic partnership. In terms of trade volume, Armenia is among Georgia’s top ten partners. Regarding tourism and visitor exchange, Armenia is also among the top three countries for us. This aspect of our cooperation, trade, economic ties, and tourism exchange is highly valuable to us. We are pleased to see an increasing interest among Georgian citizens in visiting Armenia, and we should do everything possible to foster and develop cooperation between our nations in this regard,” the Prime Minister remarked.
