To boost the export of the Georgian wine to Germany, a large-scale marketing campaign will be launched in 2025 with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency. The campaign will be led by the marketing company “ff.k Public Relations.”
Germany, the largest importer and consumer of wine in Europe, represents one of the most promising and growing strategic markets for Georgian wine.
As part of the campaign, tasting seminars will be organized in various German cities for wine professionals, trade representatives, and consumers. Georgian wine will also be showcased at international exhibitions, with targeted advertising and media campaigns. Additionally, wine tours will be arranged in Georgia for media, sommeliers, and sales representatives.
The first major presentation of Georgian wine in Germany will take place from March 16-18 in Düsseldorf at the world’s largest international wine exhibition, “ProWein Düsseldorf.” During this event, 24 Georgian wine-producing companies will participate, supported by the National Wine Agency.
The ongoing collaboration between the National Wine Agency and Georgian wine producers has contributed to a growing trend in wine exports. In 2024, exports reached up to 1.3 million liters, marking a 30% increase compared to 2023.
Along with Germany, other key export markets for Georgian wine include the USA, the UK, Poland, the Baltic countries, China, South Korea, and Japan.
