“The National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has held an event in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to promote business tourism,” - the National Tourism Administration reports.
According to the National Tourism Administration, the presentation was organized by the Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the National Tourism Administration.
The event was attended by the representatives of more than 60 leading Uzbek companies and the hospitality sector. The aim of the event is to invite large groups from Uzbekistan to Georgia to hold forums, conferences and congresses.
During the presentation, the representatives of 15 member companies of the Convention and Exhibition Bureau held business meetings with their Uzbek counterparts.
"The event was organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan,"- the statement said.
