Reportedly, the international summit "Future of Tourism World Summit" is supported by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, while Georgia will be represented by Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and Medea Janiashvili, Acting Head of the National Tourism Administration.
Within the framework of the summit, a high-level ministerial will be held, where the Deputy Economy Minister, Mariam Kvrivishvili, will deliver a speech. High-level bilateral meetings of the Georgian delegation are also planned.
As part of the summit, various panel discussions are scheduled to be held, where the participants will share their experiences gained during the pandemic. Talks will focus on the tourism recovery plans, the hospitality industry, urban tourism, consumer and tourist protection.
The Future of Tourism World Summit will take place in Barcelona, Spain on October 26-27 and will be attended by 80 speakers from 70 countries, Ministries, administrations and international organizations.
