The volume of loans in national currency increased by GEL 368.03 million (1.86%) and the volume of loans in foreign currency increased by 322.95 million GEL or by 1.52% in the same period (exchange rate effect excluded, increased by 0.34%).
By the end of October 2021, the total volume of national currency denominated loans to resident legal entities issued by commercial banks amounted to GEL 6.55 billion (2.12% more compared to the previous month), and foreign currency denominated loans constituted 13.48 billion GEL (1.28% more; exchange rate effect excluded volume of lending in foreign currency increased by 0.11%).
During October 2021, the volume of lending to resident household sector increased by 1.82% or GEL 372.36 million, and constituted GEL 20.79 billion by November 1, 2021
