The popular Italian magazine The Good Life publishes an extensive article about Tbilisi.
According to the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, the photojournalist of the publication Andrea Forlani traveled to Georgia as part of the press tour of the National Tourism Administration.
The article describes the touristic places of Tbilisi, the capital's history, culture, architecture, old Tbilisi streets, Georgian cuisine and wine.
"In Tbilisi, wherever there is a yard, there are vines everywhere. After all, archaeologists have no doubt that the birthplace of wine was here, as early as 6000 years BC. Among the 524 varieties of grapes, the most popular is Saperavi, red and semi-sweet Kindzmarauli, which is very popular in Eastern European countries," - Andrea Forlani writes, and continues the article by comparing pizza and khachapuri to each other.
"For those who have never heard of Georgian cuisine, a small dictionary may be useful: khachapuri, khinkali. The first is the Caucasian “cousin” of our pizza and it glides on the tables in various regional configurations; Imeruli khachapuri is less difficult to prepare, Sulguni cheese is amazing, but the peak is the khachapuri of Adjarian origin - from the western part of the country. Boat-shaped khachapuri, dough laden with hot cheese, egg yolk and butter, which is never light to eat," - the author of the article writes.
