At the meeting held at the head office of the United Airports of Georgia (UAG), the parties discussed the main challenges and further plans related to the development of the Kutaisi International Airport in the coming years.
For 6 months, the experts of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) will work on the short-term, medium-term and long-term development plan of the Kutaisi Airport, which means the preparation of the master plan of the airport in the next 5, 10 and 20-year perspective. The IATA experts, who are currently visiting Georgia, will hold meetings with all agencies involved in the development of the Kutaisi airport after the unification of the airports. Also, they will visit the terminal and aerodrome part of the Kutaisi International Airport and study the existing potential and possibilities on the spot.
