Georgia is the host of one of the biggest tourist exhibitions in Berlin. At ITB Berlin 2023, a gala opening ceremony will be organized on the Georgian hospitality, Georgian culture and history.
Up to 3,000 spectators will get to know Georgian folklore and electronic musical compositions, ethno jazz, opera arias and national ballet in the Berlin tourist exhibition City Cube pavilion. Director and composer Nika Machaidze talks about the importance of participation in the tourist exhibition for Georgia.
"It is important for us to participate in this event, because it is the presentation of Georgia and a step towards Europe. I prepared the first piece of music for the beginning of this event, and then there will be a cover version of Juta for Sukhishvilebi", - Nika Machaidze said.
Georgia will be represented as the host country at the ITB Berlin 2023. The main theme of Georgia at the exhibition is “Infinite Hospitality”.
In 2019, one of the largest tourism exhibitions worldwide had more than 160 thousand visitors from 181 countries. About 5 thousand representatives of the international media covered the exhibition.
