With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Austria, about 30 Georgian wine producing companies participated in the Orange Wine Festival held in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Orange Wine Festival is held several times a year in different countries of the world. The participation of Georgian wine cellars in the festival provides an opportunity for the Georgian wine to be presented on a large scale to both consumers and international wine experts and representatives of the wine trade.

This year, about 350 wines of more than 100 producers from 13 countries of the world have been presented at the festival: Georgia, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Slovenia, Serbia, Slovakia and Great Britain. The guests showed a special interest towards the Georgian wine.

The temporary representative of Georgian affairs in the Republic of Austria, Aleksandre Maisuradze, attended the festival held in Vienna.

It should be noted that one of the main directions of the activities of the National Wine Agency is the promotion and raising of awareness of Georgian wine in international markets. As part of the promotion of the Georgian wine, since 2013, in order to diversify the markets, the agency has been intensively carrying out advertising and marketing campaigns in the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia.
