As part of the Georgian wine advertising campaign, a slideshow of advertising banners of the Georgian wine was placed on the official website of the prestigious publication The New York Times, which has had an average of 100 million users during the week.
The United States of America is a strategic market for Georgian wine, where since 2013 the actions taken with the support of the National Wine Agency have significantly contributed to the increase in the awareness and export of the Georgian wine in the USA. In January-October of this year, more than 1 million liters of wine were exported from Georgia to the USA, which is 58% higher than the figure of the same period last year.
It should be noted that the advertising campaign implemented in 2023 at the initiative of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and cooperation with such influential media outlets as CBS and CNN led to an unprecedented increase in the sales of Georgian wine in the USA in late 2023 and in the period of 2024.
The Georgian wine marketing campaign in the USA is carried out by the National Wine Agency in cooperation with the largest American marketing company "Colangelo&Partners".
