According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the sides discussed the priority directions of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

It was noted that there is a great potential for cooperation between Georgia and Serbia. The parties focused on the development of bilateral trade, as well as cooperation on investment attraction, civil aviation, land transport, tourism and agriculture.

According to Genadi Arveladze, organizing the joint business forums and trade missions is especially important for deepening bilateral cooperation, which will help deepen business ties between the two countries and implement joint business projects.

At the meeting, the sides discussed the possibility of holding a meeting of the second intergovernmental economic commission between Georgia and Serbia, during which priority areas will be discussed. The need to continue consultations in order to conclude a free trade agreement between the two countries was also stressed in the future.
