The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the culture of "Angel Investors" in Georgia and to popularize the investment potential of Tbilisi, as well as to create opportunities for local small and medium-sized businesses to attract additional investment.
Within the framework of the summit, the first meeting was held today at the Rooms Hotel, which was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi, Andria Basilaia.
The visit includes panel discussions with representatives of the public and private sectors, workshops to promote the development of the economic system; Georgian companies are scheduled to show short presentations (pitch days) to investors.
An important part of the program is to present investment projects of Georgian companies to investors in order to find additional funding, in which pre-registered local technology startups are participating.
The project is implemented by the Tbilisi City Hall and the Georgian "Angel Investors" network Axel. The partner of the event is the Bank of Georgia and Grant Thornton Georgia.
