Georgia is set to sign a free trade agreement with South Korea in 2025, as outlined in the government’s program presented to parliament.
The program emphasizes ongoing efforts to enhance local businesses' access to international markets through new free trade agreements.
The government has confirmed that negotiations with South Korea have been successfully completed, and the agreement is scheduled for signing in 2025.
"Georgia aims to initiate negotiations for free trade agreements with multiple countries and regions to improve market access for domestic businesses. Talks will be held with India and Israel to finalize agreements, while discussions with the United States will continue at both political and technical levels.
Moreover, consultations with the Gulf Cooperation Council member states will move forward towards formal negotiations, and talks for a free trade agreement with Serbia will also begin," the government reports.
