During the visit, Tamaz Iorashvili, the Deputy Head of the National Tourism Administration, met with the organizers of the exhibition and discussed the organizational issues.
"Georgia, as a host country, will be represented at the largest tourism exhibition in Berlin. We had very fruitful meetings with the management of the exhibition and discussed in detail the marketing and PR activities that will be available to us during the exhibition. In May 2022, we have already planned a visit for the leading German tourism companies and representatives of the media to study the tourism potential of Georgia on the ground," - said Tamaz Iorashvili.
In early March, Georgia was represented as a Partner Country at the Berlin International Fair. The exhibition was held online due to the pandemic.
