As stopcov.ge reports, within the frames of the intensive testing, 4,243 tests were conducted across the country within the last 24 hours, including 3,179 antigen tests and 1,064 PCR tests.
Testing revealed 58 new cases of the virus within the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 1,654,313.
As of April 24, the daily positive rate is 1.37%, for the last 14 days - 1.18% and for 7 days - 1.14%.
Within the last 24 hours, 213 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,636,004.
There were no COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,800 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
The number of active cases amounts to 1,483.
