As stopcov.ge reported, as part of the intensive testing, 24,676 tests were conducted across the country within the last 24 hours, including 22,687 antigen tests and 1,989 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 290 new cases of the virus were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,654,665.
As of April 26, the daily positive rate is 1.18%, for the last 14 days - 1.14% and for 7 days - 1.06%.
Within the last 24 hours, 80 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,636,188.
2 coronavirus deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,802 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
The number of active cases amounts to 1,649.
