Stopcov.ge reports, that as part of the intensive testing, 20,318 tests were conducted across the country within the last 24 hours, including 18,357 antigen tests and 1,961 PCR tests.
Testing revealed 235 new cases of the virus within the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country amounts to 1,652,707.
As of April 14, the daily positive rate is 1.16%, for the last 14 days - 1.58% and for 7 days - 1.34%.
Within the last 24 hours, 496 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 1,633,338.
5 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,788 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
