
With the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the organization of the German marketing company "ff.k Public Relations", an article entitled "Cradle of viticulture: the best wines from Georgia" was published in the online and print editions of Falstaff, one of the most prestigious publishing houses in the field of wine.
According to the agency, the article talks about the 8000-year history of Georgian wine culture, as well as the steadily growing sales of Georgian wine in the German market, qvevri wines and the modern high-quality wine industry (see link: https://www.falstaff.com/en/news /cradle-of-viticulture-the-best-wines-from-georgia).
In addition, the article provides information about the winning Georgian wines of the competition held in June 2023 within the framework of cooperation with Falstaff. The purpose of the competition was to select the best wines from Georgia and promote them in the German market. Germany, the largest wine importing country in Europe, has been added to the list of strategic markets for Georgian wine since 2020. In 6 months of 2023, up to 522 thousand liters of wine were exported from Georgia to Germany. Compared to the same period last year, the export growth is 22%.
