The Central Election Commission (CEC) is encouraging all eligible voters to check their information in the Unified Voter List ahead of the municipal elections scheduled for October 4.
Speaking at a briefing, CEC spokesperson Natia Ioseliani emphasized the importance of verifying voter details early to ensure a smooth voting process.
"Voters should confirm their information in advance and check the location of their polling station. If updates are needed, changes can be requested until September 16," Ioseliani said.
Key Election Details:
Polling Stations: 3,051 total — 2,284 electronic and 767 traditional.
Positions to be Elected: 2,058 municipal council members (via proportional and majoritarian systems) and 64 mayors.
How to Check Voter Information:
Voters can use the following platforms:
Website: voters.cec.gov.ge
Mobile app: Voters Georgia – Cesko
Quick payment terminals
By entering a personal number and surname, users can view their own and family members’ details and find their polling station on a map. Services are also available in Azerbaijani and Armenian in minority regions.
Special Voter Categories:
Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) are listed based on their current residence.
Citizens with expired, invalid, or no address are listed based on their last or temporary residence.
These individuals must contact the State Services Development Agency or the Ministry of Health and Social Protection (for IDPs) by September 13 to update their records.
"Timely verification helps protect voter rights and increases the transparency of the elections," Ioseliani added, urging the public to review and correct any inaccurate data.
