The National Tourism Administration of Georgia held a presentation in Israel. The Administration's Convention and Exhibition Bureau briefed the largest Israeli airlines and tour operators on the prospects of business tourism in Georgia. More than 100 representatives of the Israeli business sector and local media attended the presentation.
"The main goal of the Convention and Exhibition Bureau is to raise awareness of Georgia in the international market and provide information about business activities. Our goal is to attract more business travelers from Israel to Georgia, as you know, they are quite high-spending visitors," - Levan Japaridze, head of the Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, said.
Within the framework of the presentation, the Georgian and Israeli private sector representatives were addressed by the Georgian Ambassador to Israel Lasha Zhvania.
Tamar Archuadze, the Director of the Union of the Georgian Airports, also organized a presentation within the event. The representatives of the member companies of the Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the National Tourism Administration met with their Israeli counterparts. At the meeting held in the B2B format, the possibilities of deepening the cooperation between the two countries in the direction of business tourism and planning large events were discussed.
