
According to the results of the monitoring carried out by the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia on July 6 and 10, the values of 59 parameters determined in the Black Sea water samples are within the norm!
The agency determined chemical parameters, including the concentration of 13 heavy metals, total petroleum hydrocarbons, 16 polyaortic hydrocarbons and other physico-chemical parameters.
As is known, the National Environmental Agency has been monitoring the water quality of the Black Sea once every 10 days, at 9 stations, and since July 10, the number of stations has increased, adding 3 points in the Anaklia-Ganmukhuri area.
The samples taken are sent for analysis to the accredited laboratory of atmospheric air, water and soil analysis of the National Environmental Agency, which is equipped with high precision analytical tools and fully meets modern requirements and standards. In case of interest, the data are public and transparent.
