The National Tourism Administration of Georgia hosted the media representatives from Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. Bloggers and leading journalists visited Georgia as part of the press tour. The media representatives arrived in Kutaisi, Tetra Cave, Tskaltubo, Baghdad, Sairme, Borjomi and Batumi.
The press tour participants are preparing stories, blogs and articles about the balneological, mining and sea resorts of Georgia. The media representatives will introduce the Georgian culture and cuisine to the Baltic viewers, readers and Internet users. It is planned to make a film about Georgia within the framework of the press tour, which will be distributed to YouTube.
The purpose of the press tour is to increase awareness of Georgia in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia and attract tourist flows.
