“From August 1 to November 21, 2021, 13.8 thousand tons of hazelnuts were exported from Georgia at a cost of 63.1 million US dollars,” - the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia reports.

According to the Ministry, compared to the same period last year, the volume of exported hazelnuts increased by 3.6 thousand tons (34%), and the value - by 6.8 million USD (12%).

The Georgian hazelnuts are mainly exported to the EU markets - Italy (5,808 tons), Germany (2,420 tons), Spain (424 tons), the Czech Republic (401 tons), Poland (337 tons), Lithuania (262 tons), France (224 tons) ), Bulgaria (110 tonnes), Latvia (70 tonnes), Estonia (60 tonnes), Greece (49 tonnes), Belgium (41 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes), Croatia (20 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes).

The Georgian hazelnuts are exported to: Armenia (828 tons), China (755 tons), Ukraine (256 tons), Russia (274 tons), Algeria (193 tons), Belarus (186 tons), Saudi Arabia (168 tons), Arabia ( 158 tonnes), Switzerland (151 tonnes), Mexico (120 tonnes), Azerbaijan (82 tonnes), Argentina (77 tonnes), Canada (75 tonnes), the United Arab Emirates (59 tonnes), Kazakhstan (45 tonnes), Uzbekistan ( 44 tonnes), the United Kingdom (22 tonnes), Turkey (22 tonnes), Kyrgyzstan (22 tonnes), Tunisia (15 tonnes), Jordan (14 tonnes).
