The Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara is spotlighting Batumi as a must-visit destination in Wizz Air’s in-flight magazine, reaching over 10 million passengers monthly. The feature, titled “Visit Batumi and Feel the Moment,” appears in the spring edition of Wizz, the airline’s bimonthly publication.
Described as a city of captivating contrasts, Batumi is promoted as a place where the Black Sea meets the Caucasus Mountains, and where history, modernity, culture, and adventure intertwine.
“Batumi is a city of contrasts – with the Black Sea coastline and the Caucasus Mountains, sun and rain, history and modernity, culture and adventure, beliefs and visions, sunrises and sunsets,” the article reads. “Traveler’s memories here are always full of smiles, and expectations are exceeded. Visit this small and cozy city and decide for yourself whether it is a hidden pearl of Europe or a destination for all seasons.”
The campaign is part of a broader effort by Adjara’s tourism authorities to promote the region through high-visibility international platforms. Further promotions are scheduled in the summer and autumn editions of Wizz, continuing to showcase Batumi and the broader Adjara region to Wizz Air’s global audience.
With flights to over 200 destinations across nearly 50 countries, Wizz Air’s platform provides a major opportunity to introduce Adjara’s unique appeal to a wide and diverse travel audience.
