“Well today, we are seeing a positive announcement about a new partnership and new cooperation in the Georgian economy,” stated Gareth Ward, the British Ambassador to Georgia.
“The UK wants the Georgian economy to succeed. We think that Georgia should continue to have an open and free economy and should continue to reform to make sure that that stays the case. And so I’m pleased that Vodafone is coming here into this partnership with Celfie, and we know that soon, there will be direct flights between London and Tbilisi. British Airways and EasyJet will both be flying to Georgia from the end of March. So, what I would say is we want the Georgian economy to succeed and we want the Georgian economy to continue to be open and for economic reform to be a priority,” Ambassador Ward stressed.
