
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) is moving forward with its strategic plan for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) across academic and administrative spheres, according to a recent announcement from the university's Public Relations Department.
To assess the progress made so far, TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia, convened a working meeting with university administrators and faculty deans. The discussion focused on the institution’s next phase of development, emphasizing the transformative role of AI in enhancing education, research, and operations.
“Effectively managing and integrating artificial intelligence into the education system is a major challenge that requires modern solutions. We aim for TSU to become a national leader in advancing knowledge, practical application, and the ethical use of AI,” Rector Samushia stated.
The university’s AI strategy outlines a vision for innovation across its faculties and departments. Upcoming steps include the creation of specialized working groups, strengthening international partnerships, and fostering active stakeholder involvement to drive the initiative forward.
