The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said the state budget was increasing along with rises in the domestic employment rate, noting the latest statistics update that earlier on the day showed a 3.1 reduction in the latter figure in the second quarter of the year.
Kobakhidze said the country had sustained a nine-percent growth rate this year and emphasized direct correlation between growth and job opportunities.
Kobakhidze added his Government was committed to fostering economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and delivering results, which he said was not only evident in statistics but also contributing to the state budget, with newly employed individuals making direct contributions through income tax.
