Badagoni's Signature Wine Kakhetian Noble White Named Rkatsiteli of the Year at USA Wine Ratings

Badagoni's Kakhetian Noble White has been awarded a Gold Medal and named Rkatsiteli of the Year in the Varietal Winners category at the 2026 USA Wine Ratings, earning an outstanding 93 points out of 100.

The USA Wine Ratings is the only wine competition in the United States designed specifically for independent, regional, and national retailers. Wines are judged not only on quality, but also on value and packaging, recognizing wines with the greatest appeal and commercial potential in today's market.

Kakhetian Noble White is Badagoni's signature white wine, created exclusively for the winery by renowned Italian consulting oenologist Dr. Donato Lanati. The wine is a carefully crafted blend of Rkatsiteli and Kakhetian Mtsvane, combining the richness and structure of Georgia's indigenous grape varieties with refined modern winemaking. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding depth, elegance, and complexity while preserving its vibrant fruit character.

Receiving the title "Rkatsiteli of the Year" is a remarkable recognition  for one of Georgia's most iconic indigenous grape varieties, further showcasing the exceptional quality and international potential of Georgian wine.
