The forum is being held for the fourth time this year and it has become an important platform for dialogue between countries, the private sector and international organizations. This year, Tbilisi will host the Silk Road Forum and its more than 2,000 guests from 60 countries on October 26-27. As Genadi Arveladze notes, this year's event is unprecedented not only in terms of the number of participants, but also in terms of its high representative level.

“Connectivity is the main theme of the Silk Road Forum this year. It is important that this platform is used by representatives of other countries of the region, as well as Europe and Asia. During 10 panel sessions at the forum this year, discussions will take place around such key sectors and issues as - trade, transport and logistics, energy, tourism, financial technologies, etc.,” – Arveladze said.
