As part of a new marketing initiative by the Georgian National Tourism Administration, moving banners promoting Georgia as a travel destination have been installed in the French cities of Paris and Lyon.
In Paris, over 30 banners featuring images of Georgia’s landscapes, cities, culture, and attractions are displayed in high-traffic areas such as the Champs-Élysées, Charles de Gaulle, and other popular streets and squares. These displays offer passersby a glimpse into the country’s natural beauty and rich heritage.
The campaign aims to increase Georgia’s visibility among French tourists, with banners scheduled to appear in various locations throughout both cities.
Maia Omiadze, Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, emphasized the campaign’s strategic importance:
“A marketing campaign is underway in France, with views of Georgia on display on the streets of Paris and Lyon. We have roadshows, B2B meetings, presentations, and various types of activities where we encourage tourists to choose Georgia as a travel destination this year,” she said.
