
In January-November 2022, a record number of chocolate and food products containing cocoa were imported into Georgia. As the data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia show, the import of chocolate in the last ten years, both in terms of volume and value, was at the highest level last year.
According to official statistics, the import value of chocolate and other ready-made food products containing cocoa increased by 37% compared to January-November of the previous year.
Georgia's top trading partners by cocoa imports is Russia, which accounts for 41.8% of total imports.

2. Turkey - $13.2 million, 2 863 tons;
3. Ukraine - $8.7 million, 2 658 tons;
4. Belgium - $3 million, 749 tons;
5. Italy - $2.4 million, 695 tons;
6. Germany - $1.8 million, 651 tons;
7. The Netherlands - $1.7 million, 244 tons;
8. Poland - $1.4 million, 241 tons;
9. Azerbaijan - $1.2 million, 443 tons.
10. Armenia - $1 million, 195 tons.
