“The protected areas of Georgia are becoming more and more popular for Chinese visitors, and the activities that we are doing to promote them at the international level are a logical continuation of this,” - the Deputy Chairwoman of Agency of Protected Areas of Georgia Tamar Khakhishvili said.
"The representatives of tourist companies and media visited the protected areas of Georgia; they are going to visit different national parks for 5 days. They will be given the opportunity to learn more about the biodiversity of Georgia and the unique places that can be included in the tours of Chinese visitors in the future and thereby increase the number of visitors to Georgia. Every arriving Chinese visitor is a source of additional earnings for the local economy," - Tamar Khakhishvili stated.
