At the beginning of 2023, Nova is scheduled to expand its production. As Zviad Abuladze, the chairman of the company's supervisory board, explained on the air of Forbes week, from the beginning of next year the production of betek brand cement based adhesive and XPS insulation material will begin in Tbilisi, and metal pipes - in Batumi.
According to him, the equipment for all three productions is being installed and will probably be launched in January-February 2023.
"It is planned to produce metal pipes in Batumi, the potential of which is about 30 thousand tons per year. Our competitors produce cement based adhesives, but the head offices themselves carry out this production and this Georgian management will be under our franchise scheme. The third is the production of XPS insulation materials in Tbilisi, which will be the first not only in Georgia, but also in the Caucasus. This is a very difficult, semi-chemical production, and I will launch all three from the new year," - Zviad Abuladze said.
