The Batumi-Tbilisi International Classical Music Festival Night Serenades was held on the big stage of the Ilia Chavchavadze State Drama Theater of Batumi this week. The festival was opened by Sabine Grofmeier and the base orchestra Georgian Virtuosi.
Katie Mahan, born in America, recognized as a virtuoso working in Salzburg, will appear before the audience as a special guest at the anniversary festival.
An exhibition of artist-designer Nino Mirianashvili will be held as part of Night Serenades.
The world-renowned stars will perform masterpieces of the world classics at the concert evenings of this year's festival in August and September in Batumi and Tbilisi. On August 27, the book "Celebration of Music" will be presented at the House of Writers of Adjara, where the work of the famous violinist and conductor, the founder of Night Serenades, Liana Isakadze, will be introduced to the public.
