Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will attend the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), where he plans to hold bilateral meetings with international leaders, according to Mariam Kvrivishvili, the country’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.
Kvrivishvili noted that the Prime Minister will deliver a speech focused on the importance of global connectivity and Georgia’s strategic role in the Middle Corridor — a key trade route linking Asia and Europe.
“During the conference, the Prime Minister will meet with leaders from various countries and highlight Georgia’s commitment to strengthening regional connectivity,” she said. “His speech will focus on major infrastructure projects such as new highways, the Anaklia deep-sea port, the planned international airport, and other initiatives aimed at boosting Georgia’s role as a regional transit hub.”
The Georgian delegation includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister Kvrivishvili, and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
