Tbilisi’s Mtatsminda Park hosted the annual New Wine Festival as part of the state program promoting Georgian wine in the local market.
Organized for the second year in a row by the National Wine Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, the event is one of several initiatives designed to enhance wine tourism and encourage a deeper appreciation of Georgia’s wine culture.
This year’s festival featured around 170 wines from the 2024 harvest, presented by small, medium, and large-scale producers. The celebration began with the traditional opening of a Qvevri, the iconic clay vessel used in Georgian winemaking.
The New Wine Festival continues to attract both wine professionals and enthusiasts from Georgia and abroad, further cementing the country's reputation as a cradle of winemaking.
