
President of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), Natia Turnava, met with representatives of the World Bank’s Reserves Management Advisory Program (RAMP), including Guilherme Alves, Henry Hua, and Jérôme Teiletche, to discuss deepening cooperation and advancing reserve management strategies.
According to the NBG press service, the meeting focused on several key areas of ongoing collaboration. Topics included the development and implementation of the Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) framework, a revision of the foreign exchange reserves investment strategy, and the enhancement of gold management policies. Future cooperation plans were also on the agenda.
Turnava expressed appreciation for the World Bank RAMP team’s technical support and longstanding partnership, underscoring the value of their expertise. She also reaffirmed the NBG’s commitment to sharing its experience in international reserve management with other central banks participating in the RAMP initiative, highlighting Georgia’s active role in contributing to the program’s overall success.
