Natia Turnava, Acting President of the National Bank of Georgia, highlighted the growing confidence international investors have in Georgia's banking sector, particularly regarding its full compliance with sanctions. She emphasized the successful integration of a major U.S. correspondent bank into Georgia's financial system, a partnership formed after over a year and a half of negotiations. 

Turnava noted that this development underscores the ability of Georgian banks to manage risk and maintain their credibility. 

Acting President further affirmed that Georgia’s financial system adheres to both international sanctions and local regulations, ensuring continued stability and attractiveness to global partners.
